Castrol Duratec A is formulated primarily for spark ignition gas engines where a very low or zero ash formulation is specified. This is typically 2-stroke and some engines where catalytic converters are fitted and the gas is largely free from aggresive components i.e. halogens and hydrogen sulphide.
